Biography

Edie works closely with the Director of Fellowship Advising to identify and prepare Tulane students for nationally competitive awards, helping students draft and revise application materials and prepare for other aspects of fellowship competitions. Edie has worked at Tulane since 2002, first as an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Art History, then as an Administrative Assistant Professor and Undergraduate Advisor at the Stone Center for Latin American Studies. In this capacity, Edie has supported undergraduate students in all aspects of the research process, in fellowship prospecting and application, and in preprofessional development. Edie has served annually as a Faculty Fulbright Campus Evaluator at Tulane for over a decade, mentoring undergraduate and graduate student Fulbright candidates.
