Learn about what each of these funding opportunities has to offer, and what they are looking for from competitive candidates. Every year, the Rhodes Trust brings together 100 new Rhodes Scholars from around the world. The scholarship fully funds postgraduate study at the University of Oxford, and is a life-changing opportunity for exceptional young people who will change the world for the better.
Join NTC’s Office of Fellowship Advising (OFA) for a virtual visit from Beth Pearson, Assistant American Secretary for the Rhodes Trust, with the participation of Noam Schreiber, Chicago-based reporter for The New York Times, former Rhodes Scholar, and Tulane graduate (class of 1998) at date TBD. During this session, you will learn what it’s like to be a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford and what makes a competitive applicant for this program.

Schwarzman Scholars is a program for the next generation of young leaders, anchored in a fully-funded 10-month master’s degree in Global Affairs at Beijing’s Tsinghua University. The experience encompasses unparalleled opportunities in and outside the classroom, including extensive leadership training, a network of senior mentors, optional internships, career development, and travel seminars around China. Schwarzman Scholars prepares young leaders for a world where China plays a vital role.
